Over ten years ago I was having a conversation with my oldest son. As I spoke of the latest “God story,” a supernatural work of our Lord I had just witnessed, my son said, “Dad, you’ve got to write these stories down!” That impetus launched my writing career! While I was writing that first book, my spiritual father, Jack R. Taylor (who has numerous and wonderful books to his credit) told me, “John there is only one reason to write a book . . . it’s because you believe you have something to tell.”
I believe I do have something and some things to tell. I never tire of telling of God’s works and the impact they and His words have in transforming people’s lives. So, I wrote that first book (and now the subsequent three others) for my children and grandchildren. I also wrote it for Christians like me who’ve come from a background of loving God but seeing very little of His moving in our day and time. I desire that everyone who reads my books - my children, grandchildren, and heirs, along with all who are seeking to experience a truly supernatural God - will find stimulating encouragement to believe and, in believing, see Him doing the “greater works” (John 14:12) in them and through them.
